Our Story

Sam brings an extensive background in flooring, with experience spanning residential, commercial, and new build projects. Over his career he has worked for some of the largest names in the industry, including Australia’s biggest flooring retailer Harvey Norman, New Zealand’s largest tile retailer Tile Warehouse, and as National Sales Manager for local carpet manufacturer Carpet Mill. This broad knowledge allows Sam to deliver expert advice and specifications across every flooring type and scale of project.

Teresa adds a whole new dimension to the business with her background in interior design. With her strong eye for aesthetics and functionality, she guides the design direction across the showroom, ensuring every customer can confidently bring their vision to life. Beyond design, Teresa oversees HR, supplier relationships, and plays a key role in shaping the culture and future growth of Colthurst Flooring.
